Dr. Grace S. Kim
Dr. Grace S. Kim earned her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She did her residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
After completing her residency, she remained at Mount Sinai to serve as a chief resident and to complete her fellowship training in endocrinology and metabolism.
Following her fellowship training, Dr. Kim returned to the Bay Area to provide patient care in endocrinology in both inpatient and outpatient capacities.
In addition to her comprehensive diabetes and endocrinology practice, Dr. Kim is the medical director of the Diabetes Center at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City. She also serves as the endocrine/diabetes consultant for the Dignity Health Hospital System and is involved in clinical trials testing new therapies for endocrine diseases.
Dr. Kim practices general endocrinology with particular areas of focus in diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, weight and metabolic disorders, and osteoporosis.
Dr. Kim is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in endocrinology and metabolism and is also certified by the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
Dr. Kim is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and a member of the Endocrine Society.
